A 30×15cm horizontal panel with seven distinct British songbirds (goldfinch, brambling, warbler, dove, robin, bullfinch, blue jay) perched on a hand-formed iron-wire branch. The dense outline-lattice between every bird and leaf isn't lead came (4mm too thick to fit seven birds in 30cm) — it's authentic 1540s Murano reticello: 0.4mm white-cane lattice pulled through molten glass. Final 38 panels from Clarissa Penmark's 42-year Saffron Walden Tudor workshop before she closes 21 June 2026 for aortic valve replacement at Royal Papworth on 23 June.
