Songbird Quartet on Branch — Verre Églomisé Stained-Glass Suncatcher

A 30×21cm four-bird suncatcher designed against Phyllis Carmichael's own hand-gilded verre églomisé panel (1786 Paris technique — pure 23.5-karat gold leaf reverse-applied to the back of glass, then engraved by hand with steel needles). The dark "lead-came-look" outlines on every bird aren't lead came; they're tracing 240 years of authentic verre églomisé gilding. Final 71 from Phyllis's Lewes school-house workshop before Edward's Parkinson's care closes the bench end of June 2026.
