Iris Bloom — Stained-Glass Suncatcher

A 24cm die-cut iris suncatcher designed against Beatrice Penrose's own hand-scratched sgraffito panels — the silver-grey vein lines you see traced through every petal aren't lead came (which is too thick for floral detail). They're 0.025mm hand-scratched copper foil, photographed and reproduced through a 4-pass UV-cured giclée. The final 47 panels from Beatrice's Stow-on-the-Wold workshop before her essential tremor closes her bench for good. Two black chains for window hanging.
