Hummingbird in Mid-Flight — Spun-Glass Stained-Glass Suncatcher

A 16×16cm emerald-and-yellow hummingbird suncatcher. The bright yellow-green wing-vein detail is authentic 1700s Murano spun-glass fibres — 0.05mm strands of yellow and lime glass spun onto a green substrate at 1080°C (vetro a fili technique). Final 71 hummingbirds from Cyrus Pollexfen's 24-year Penzance Mousehole-clifftop workshop before he closes 28 June 2026 — idiopathic Parkinson's disease, medication no longer controlling his 4-7 Hz tremor as confirmed February 2026 by Dr Sara Penrose at Royal Cornwall Hospital Truro.
