Emerald Hummingbird — Hand-Engraved Cameo Glass Suncatcher

A 17×17cm die-cut suncatcher designed from Olwen Tregaron's own hand-engraved cameo glass original — the leaf-vein detail running through the cream-yellow wings is carved by hand with a diamond-tipped engraving burr at 12,000 RPM through a layered green-and-cream glass blank (60–80 hours of carving per original). The Daum/École de Nancy 1880s technique she learned in Lille in 1992 from a Daum apprentice's apprentice. Final 38 from her Tenby clifftop workshop before she closes 14 June 2026 to be with her daughter Catrin in Cardiff through a high-risk pregnancy.
